Well-preserved survivor with over 15 years of storage in a heated garage. With the legendary OM617.952 engine. An original, all-metal exterior, a solid turbo diesel that starts/idles and moves under its own power (forward and reverse) in our lot.

Was not equipped with SRS, Anti-Lock brakes or a Catalytic Converter from factory. The drivetrain is operable, the brake pedal currently feels unusually low and will require inspection & service/repair before safe regular use. Engine starts up quickly with the ignition switch/key, however, requires a boost. Manual Override lever under hood requires pressing to shut engine off. Likely an ignition switch issue, however, it has not been diagnosed.

Power windows & sunroof function properly, audio unit turns on with sound. Power antenna/switch functioning. Floors, frame and undercarriage are very good condition, has been rust proofed regularly. Has not been mechanically inspected aside from the above notes, vehicle cannot be driven safely on the road in its current condition and is being offered for sale “As-is”.

Great project or restoration candidate for collectors seeking an authentic 1980s Mercedes with strong potential after some mechanical and cosmetic attention. Comes with the original Mercedes-Benz owner’s handbooks.
